Manipur government is planning to implement fresh water to household under the project (FHTC- Fresh Water Household Tap Connections). It plans to provide 1,42,749 households over 1,185 villages. The project is assisted with central government funds as well as funds from the Department for Development of North-Eastern Region.
The project outlay is around Rs 3,054.58 crore with a loan component funded by the New Development Bank.
